10.10.2016 - Wwoof is 45 years old - Happy Birthday

We have just returned from a trip to Cumbria to attend the Wwoof AGM. For those who don't know what Wwoof (World Wide opportunities on organic farms) is, it is a charitable organisation that puts volunteers in touch with farmers, smallholders and gardeners who promote an organic, sustainable lifestyle. It encompasses a lot more than just gardening. Volunteers can gain experience of organic practices in exchange for board and lodgings. It is possibly the most environmentally sound way to experience life in the UK and beyond. Check it out here Wwoof

There is now Lloof (Living and Learning on Organic Farms) an online resource for all things wwoofy. Have a look... Lloof
